DESCRIPTION
Acamar is the fourth planet (super-rocky) in the Acamar B system at 167.16 LY from Sun.
It has no moon.
Acamar aka Theta 1 Eri is located in Eridanus constellation in the Beta Quadrant.
Acamar B aka Theta 2 Eri or TYC 7563-1017-1 is the second component at 3.3 LY from component 1.
The primary is a white giant (A5III) and the second is a white dwarf on main sequence (A1V).
Acamar is near Aldea (35.5 LY), Etchevarria (63.3 LY) and Akaali (63.9 LY).
HISTORY
In the early 2220’s first contact with Orions business interests.
With the Orions gone the clans once again turned on each other in what is called the “Clan Wars”.
After generations of bloody conflict the people of Acamar finally made peace with themselves.
In the early 2370’s second contact with USS Enterprise-D, gave a protectorate with UFP to resolve last acamarian problems.
In 2396 Acamar became UFP member.
