DESCRIPTION
Risa is the lonely inhabited planet around Eps Cet B located in beta quadrant.
It is the third telluric planet in the Risa system.
The Risa is Risan homeworld, a tropical Minshara-Class planet orbiting the trinary star Epsilon Ceti
with two little iced poles.
Although it appears to be a single star to the naked eye, it is actually a star system of two stars in binary pair.
Risa aka Epsilon Ceti is in the Cetus constellation, located about 70.1 light years from Sol.
These stars are solar-like white-dwarf F5V and F6V.
Risa is near Manzar (14.8 LY), Deneva (17 LY) and Akaali (17.8 LY).
HISTORY
Risa was first visited by Humans and Starfleet in 2152 when the Enterprise (NX-01) arrived
at the planet and several crew members took shore leave. (ENT episode: "Two Days and Two Nights")
Risa is the capital planet of the Risian Hedony, and a well known tourist planet.
It has a tropical climate, with big islands.
All islands have beautiful beaches and blue lagoons near equator.
It's a Federation Member since: At least the 2249s.
Technology stabilized Risa's atmospheric and meteorological state with tectonic equipment to keep it from sliding over the edge.
Few vessels turn around Starbase 12 aka Risa Station (v2 with size divided by 4).
