DESCRIPTION
Rhaandar is the fourth planet in the Rhaandarite system at 98.31 LY from Sun.
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, Rhaandar is located around Alf Ind B in the Beta Quadrant,
in Indus constellation.
The star (aka Alf Indi B) is a solar-like (G3V) but 1.2 times bigger and 1.43 brighter.
The giant jovian Velocia turns quickly and has an important oblatness.
Rhaandar is near Danula (11.8 LY), Arianna (24.5 LY) and Bolarus (26.8 LY).

 

History
It's a Federation Member since At least 23th century.
Rhaandar is described as a temperate and water rich planet.
It's a very strategical system for UFP to explore north of beta quadrant
and south of delta quadrant.


Rhaandarite starbase turn around Rhaandar.
Rhaandarite destroyer and its shuttle turn around their starbase.
UFP's Starbase 161 turns around Rhaandar.
The USS Soltice Comes into starbase at door D
The USS Delestrez protects starbase with 3 squadrons of Valkyrie.
Its shuttles (Argo and Type11) turn around Starbase.
The runabout USS Rhone inspects the shipyards.
SS Raven is ready to go to Delta quadrant.
In drydocks of starbase we find :
USS Hawking new experimental vessel in development,
USS Nova, USS Rhode-Island and USS Equinox in construction.

   warp 7.0 :  54.7 days (Tos)
