DESCRIPTION
Qualor is the second planet in the Qualor system at 47.6 LY from Sun.
A second inhabited planet in the system is Qualor III, colder.
Qualor is an ocean planet (Class O) and Federation Member State in the Taurus Reach region, in the Alpha Quadrant.
It is the homeworld of the Selkie species and the location of a Federation colony.
Qualor was famed for its warm blue waters and fine beaches, considered to be a "jewel in the galaxy",
and making it a popular tourist destination.
The star aka Hip 35296 or Gl 269 is an orange solar-like type-K3V (0.91 R and 0.39 Luminosity) in puppis constellation.
It is a member of the United Federation of Planets.
