DESCRIPTION
Norpin IV & V are the fourth and fifth planet in the Norpin system at 347 LY from Sun.
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, Norpin is located around HIP 36592.
The system is in the Puppis constellation in Beta Quadrant.
The star is a stable Sun-type type G2V yellow dwarf.
It is about 130% larger and 170% brighter than the sun with a surface temperature equal than the Sun.
It is a member of the United Federation of Planets in 2378.
Norpin is near Moselina (163.3 LY), Tessen (164.1 LY) and Nahmi (201.7 LY).
History
The Astrophysics Center there is due to hold a symposium on rogue star clusters
in 2366 while the Enterprise is in for maintenance overhaul at Starbase 12
(around Gamma 400 at 118 LY from Norpin IX).
