Klaestron is a planet in the relative neighborhood of Cardassian Union.
Klaestron IV is near Bajor and Trill.
It's a member federation since late 23th.
In 2371, Julian Bashir visited Klaestron IV to learn a new treatment for burn victims. 
According to him, the technology had to be seen to be believed.

Klaestron IV is home to the Klaestronians and made its first appearance in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
