DESCRIPTION
Kaferia (or Tau Ceti IV) is the 4th planet (between e and f) in the Tau Ceti system of the Alpha Quadrant.
It's located between Solar system and Vulcan system.
The system has two big external asteroïd belts and 4 known planets (e, f, g and h).
Tau Ceti is a sun-like (G8V yellow-orange dwarf) star in the Cetus constellation.
Tau Ceti is located only about 11.9 light-years (ly) from Sun in sector 004.
the star has around 82 percent of Sol's mass, around 80 percent its diameter,
but only 52 percent of its luminosity.
It appears to be elderly for a main sequence dwarf, perhaps around 10 billion years old.
In July 2004, astronomers announced that they had imaged a relatively large and dense disk
of cold dust around and in 2013 five new planets including in this add-on.
HISTORY
The inhabitants are insectoïds.
Kaferian insectoids who live on Tau Ceti IV refer to this world as Kohath-Seredi.
The Tau Ceti system was the site of the Tau Ceti Accords, a treaty between Vulcan and the Andorian Empire.
