DESCRIPTION
Hanolan is a colony on the second planet in the Hanolan system.
It's located in Alpha quadrant at "East" of Cardassian Union.
The Hanolan homeworld is a temperate Minshara-Class planet orbiting the single star system.
Hanolan aka HIP 19422 is in the Chamelopardis constellation, located about
61.2 light years from Sol.
This star is a orange solar-like K2V with 0.8 radius and 0.25 luminosity.
Hanolan system is near Dalvos (11.1 LY), Nivoch (15 LY) and Bajor (17 LY).
History
The Hanolan colony served as an evacuation site for the civilian population of Deep Space Nine
during the coup staged on Bajor by the Alliance for Global Unity in 2370.
The colony has 260 millions of inhabitants.
