DESCRITION
Based on spectbins.stc's file and SIMBAD's datas, the Capella's system has 6 stars.


First binary is two giant stars G5III and G0III.
Second binary is 2 red dwarf stars M2V and M9V, around 10,000 astronomical units from the first.
Third binary is 2 red dwarf stars M4V and M9V, around 10,000 astronomical units from the first.
Capella aka Alpha AUR is in the Auriga constellation, located about 42.8 light years from Sol. 
Capella IV is the fourth planet around the first binary of Capella system.


Capella system is near New France (6.5 LY), Bilana (21.1 LY) and Coridan (21.3 LY).

History
Capella IV governed by the Ten Tribes of Capella and is home to the Capellans, a Human civilization.
The element topaline was discovered in Capella IV.
In 2267, the planet served as a pawn in the Federation-Klingon Cold War, during a trade dispute between 
the Klingons and the Federation over topaline mining rights. (TOS: "Friday's Child") 
The USS Enterprise NCC-1701 is dispatched to Capella IV in order to secure the mining rights for a rare element. 
A Klingon, Kras, is also on Capella IV to negotiate for the mining rights. 
During the talks, there is a coup and Kirk accidentally violates Capellan law by preventing the slaughter of the pregnant wife of the deposed Capellan leader, Teer Aakaar. 
McCoy then delivers Teer Akaar`s son. 
After Krad and the leader of the coup, Maar, are killed, the infant is declared the new Teer. 
Kirk subsequently gains the mining rights with the agreement of the child`s regent - his mother - and open full diplomatic relations with the Capellans.
It is not a member of the United Federation of Planets since late 2267. 
In 2380, Capella had a population of about 160,000. (ST reference: Star Charts) 

The USS DELESTREZ-A (v5) turns around Starbase with its shuttles Argo, Cousteau and Scarpe.
USS Voager turns around Starbase22.
USS Audacious is in Spacedock to registry.
USS Besingue and USS Leroy are in spacedocks.
USS Excelsior-D and USS Ironcross protect starbase.
Shuttle Aero goes out Spacedock to return to USS Voyager.
Shuttle Waverider is in front of Aero.
