Boradis aka HIP 20553 is in the Taurus constellation, located about 156.5 light years from Sun.
It's located in Alpha quadrant near Klingon Empire.
Boradis III is the third planet with warm Minshara Class (like south of Spain) in the Boradis system.
Boradis IV, the second colony in this system is a temperate Minshara Class planet (like north of France).
Boradis V, the third colony is an iced Minshara Class planet (like center of Sweden).
The star is a solar-like yellow dwarf(G0V type) with radius = 1.3 R.

Boradis system is near Gaspar (11.5 LY), Davlos (13.7 LY) and Durenia (35.8 LY).

History

It is a member of the United Federation of Planets since 2331.

Boradis III is the first Federation colony in the star system founded in 2331.

Boradis IV and V colonies were founded sometime between 2331 and 2365.

Starbase 336 turns around Boradis III.

The USS Enterprise-D intercepted a Class-8 probe occupied by Special Federation Emissary K'Ehleyr,

with orders from Starfleet for a new mission.

The new mission required the Enterprise to intercept a Klingon sleeper ship from the late 23rd century. (TNG: "The Emissary")
