Bolarus IX (also known as Bolarus, Bolius IX, or Bolias) is an M-class oceanic planet in the Bolarus system
and was the homeworld of the Bolian race.
Bolarus is near alpha Gru is in the Grus constellation, located about 101.4 light years from Sol.
This main star is a blue  (B6V) with a companion with unknown properties, i choose G5V.
Bolarus is located relatively close to the Romulan Neutral Zone,
Bolarus IX features a large number of small landmasses, islands, archipelagos, and atolls surrounded by major oceans, isolating most of the major cities from one another.
Only three islands are really large enough to be called continents, and each of these is still smaller than any single continent on earth.
The world is largely a water world, and the disparate nature of the most early population centers caused much of the independent cultural development that remains apparent among the various Bolian races to this day.

Romulan Star Empire with Romula (33.2 LY) and Devron (39.5 LY).
