Betazed

Betazed (aka Cyndriel) is the fifth planet in the Betazed system.
The system (aka Beta Veldonna, aka Beta Zeta) is in Ursa Major constellation at 74.9 LY from Sun.
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, Betazed is in the Alpha Quadrant.
The star is a solar-like (G0V) but 1.1 times bigger and 1.22 brighter.

4. Avandar   (IV)    Class-L
5. Betazed   (V)     Class-M with 3 moons
6. Darona    (VI)    Class-G with 1 moon
7. Khrysaros (VII)   Class-J with 3 moons
8. Erion     (VIII)  Class-J with 1 moon & 1 big asteroid.


Betazed is near Merak (12.7 LY), Ba'ku (23.3 LY) and Tagra (25.2 LY).


We find near Betazed system the Tendaras cluster at 9.2 LY with radius equal to 5 LY.
 

History
This system was named by the 21st century human John Burke, chief astronomer of the Royal Academy.
On page 36, the single star of the Beta Zeta system was classified as a G-type star.
The first contact is dated in 2177.
Betazed was finally admitted into the Federation in 2273.
In 2374, Betazed had a population of 5.6 billion Betazoids, 11 million humans and 6 million Centaurians.
It's a very strategical system for UFP.
N.B. : Some datas on the web told us that Avandar replaces Lonita.
I choosed the planet Avandar and the moon Lonita.
On Darona, we found a "small" betazoid colony (in the biggest crater on the planet, blue point)
and its high security prison at North-East (black point)

The USS DELESTREZ v4 (Hi-res textures 2048x2048) and its shuttles turn around Star.
The USS Companion and Comrade turn around starbase.
The USS Ferrus, Skipjack and Holland are at spacedocks.
USS Hayden goes out the starbase.
USS Enterprise-E turn around Lonita.

Betazed station turns around Lonita moon.

USS Emissary is near Betazed station.
