Arbazan is the third planet in the Arbazan system at 104.2 LY from Sun.
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, Arbazan is located in Ophicius constellation in the Alpha Quadrant.
Arbazan is described as a temperate and water rich planet (One sea and many lakes).
The star is a red dwarf (M0V) but 1.7 times bigger and 0.20 brighter than Sun.
There is a space complex which contains 6 little and medium space stations.
Arbazan is near Bilana (34.5 LY), Delinia (39.2 LY) and Aaamazzara (41.4 LY).
History
Arbazans were a member race of the Federation, described by some as being "sexually
repressed". (DS9 episode: "The Forsaken").
The planet became colonized by the 2290s.
The Arbazan colony is one of the oldest Earth colonies, established prior to the 2150s on
Arbazan star as a freighting line base for mining in the sector's asteroid belt.
It's a Federation Member since At least 23th century.
It's a very strategical system for UFP.
