Antos IV is the fourth planet in the Antos system located in Alpha quadrant.
The Antos IV (or Dorafane in the Antosian language) is the second Antosian homeworld,
a cold Minshara-Class planet orbiting the primary star Antos.
Antos aka Kap DEL is in the Delphinus constellation, located about 98.0 light years from Sol.
The primary star is a recent subgiant solar-like (G2IV type) and the second couple is comprised of two dwarfs orange (K2V) and white (DA), around 0.1 LY and 95 AU from the primary.
The two last planets are under stars influence and their inclinations are negative.

Antos system is near Ferenginar (32 LY), Audet (36 LY) and Braslota (42.3 LY).

History

Before to become a subgiant, Antosians lived on third planet which is now too warm.

They decided to transform the fourth planet by terraforming.

The star will go on to grow in the future and the temperature will be warmer.

Antos IV has a strategical location because it is near ELORG Bloc and the Breens.

Kirk and Spock are held captive in an insane asylum by a former Starfleet hero,Captain Garth of Izar, who cared by antosians after he suffered an accident.

It is a member of the United Federation of Planets since late 2175.
