Andros III is the third planet in the Andros system located in beta quadrant.
Andros III is a M class tropical planet located in Federation space. 
Andros aka 58 Eri, is in a single G1V system at 43.2 light-years from Sun.

 

Andros III is near Arken (20.8 LY), Orion (21.9 LY) and Invernia (22.8 LY).

History


From DS9: "In the Cards", it's the home of Dr. Bathkin.
A scientist on Andros III, who according to Dr. Giger was the first to come up with 
the "answer" to immortality: to keep the cells "entertained". 
Bathkin's work ended when he was killed in a shuttle accident...or so they say. 
It's a Federation Member since late 22rd or mid-23th century.

Starbase 100 turns around andros.
Two civil vessels(Titania class) are near SB100.
USS DELESTREZ with its shuttles protect SB100.
USS Monitor (medical ship) turns around SB100.
